Chicken Pot Pie Weekend
Vermont is not the only place to eat Chicken Pot Pie in October…. and view the colorful autumn leaves. Emandal, too, has some glorious colors… and some of the best Chicken Pot Pie you’ll ever taste! A fall weekend for leisure… and/or for hiking in the woods and by the river. Stay in one of the cottages… or in a farmhouse room. Enjoy fresh soup and bread when you arrive on Friday evening (we’ll leave it in your kitchen). The rest of the meals you’ll have in the Dining Room. Saturday morning breakfast…. Saturday dinner…. Sunday Brunch. A real fall reatreat.
Apple Cider Pressing
Depending on crop size, we’ll pick and press apples on Saturday, and you should be able to take some fresh cider home with you, after drinking your fill while here. Besides the pressing, the river is always beautiful in the fall…. sometimes too chilly for swimming, sometimes just right. The woods are filled with colored leaves. Food will definitely be autumn oriented…. an abundance from the garden.
