Up Your Ante on Creativity!

Since childhood, Bobbie has been using her hands and mind to manifest incredible works of art, delightful handicrafts, as well as useful needed articles of clothing, edibles and pieces of machines. Her mind is always seeking to figure out just how to do something….. do it well and with finesse. She’s figured out, over time, various ways to manifest her creativity, and in this workshop will share a multitude of her “tricks of the trade.” Besides that, she will introduce you to some Stamp Art, Decorative Gourds and Rawhide Braiding…. along with who knows what all! If you’re lucky, she might even give you some pointers on one of her more recent endeavors, Texas Hold em Poker! This promises to be a potluck of creative ventures headed up by a Renaissance Woman of renown.

Bobbie Yokum has lived in Willits for over 50 years, and is known for her cooking, organizational skills, evergreen wreath making (large ones, big enough for a steam engine!) rawhide braiding, wordle, quilting, writing, sewing, stamp art and her love of traveling. She’s taken every ArtStay Workshop since the beginning, and excelled in each one.
