Fall Into Winter

A gloriously colorful Fall this year, which has now morphed into mostly winter. Although rainy and a bit warmer the past couple of days, Thanksgiving and the following weekend of pizza and wreaths was assuredly COLD!

The day before the night it snowed high in the mountains, we reveled in the blue sky and sunshine of the Mendocino National Forest, and hiked from just below Anthony Peak to Bucks Rock…. and then some. 8.1 miles.

And then the cold… beautiful, but water-line breaking cold….
