The Stuff of Life: A Memoir Workshop
Instructor: Susan Bono
Skill Level: All who enjoy writing!
What have you been longing to write about? The stuff of life, of course! Face it, we’ve all accumulated enough memories, insights, emotional and literal baggage to write about for the rest of our lives! What’s missing is structured time, gentle guidance, and the support of a creative community. Emandal ArtStays has all that, plus beauty, serenity, nourishing organic meals, and magic!
In this five-day workshop, we’ll employ the techniques of short form memoir to create brief, focused pieces of writing that capture specific moments or experiences in vivid detail. By writing honestly about stuff we’ve lost, found, bought, borrowed, stolen, or received as gifts, we’ll be telling the stories of our lives.
