Each participant will be hand sewing a soft- bodied human doll or animal, approximately 10-12” in size.
Figures are made of all natural materials inside and out.
* Recycled cashmere/lamb’s wool sweaters, vintage fabrics, trims, and buttons help to bring each soft, huggable figure to life.
* As we go step by step, stitch by stitch, each figure emerges with its own unique personality.
Sewing together is also relaxing and fun .
Beginners and experienced hand crafters alike will receive individual attention and printed pattern with written directions to take home. All materials provided.

About the Instructor
Marcia and her husband Cliff, have lived on a mountain top within a 20 acre parcel, in Willits, Mendocino County, for the past thirty-seven years. They call it the “Up and Down Ranch”. Their children grew up here enjoying the forest and meadows, the seasonal changes. She feels very fortunate to have a studio space above their garage that is her haven for creating, sewing, painting and making very large messes that she can clean up “later”. She loves birding, gardening, and reading a really good novel.
