Hot Cross Buns

Easter Time... spring time....  Hot Cross Buns!   Although we've had to postpone my niece's memorial (it was to happen on Good Friday, April 10th), and forfeit the traditional Eggs Benedict Family Feast on Easter Sunday, spring is still springing....  I made these sweet buns yesterday.  My daughter, Zarya, going a bit stir crazy in the Sierra Valley near Loyalton, got my grandson, James (10 years old), as part of his school work, to look up the recipe for candied orange peel a few days ago, in ... What to Do?..! What We’re Doing….

Stating the obvious....  so much has changed in such a short time!  To be frank and to the point, we don't know what's going to happen this summer.  We're in a holding pattern, just like you.  I'll try to keep you apprised, but please realize that it might not be feasible for us to open this year.  As with the Summer Olympics, we may be forced to postpone 2020, and ask for a re-do in 2021.  There are all sorts of possibilities of things in-between, but realistically, even if everyone hunkers ...
