Each participant will be hand sewing a soft body 10”-12” inch doll. This doll is made with all natural materials inside and out.
Recycled clean cashmere and lamb’s wool sweaters, cotton and vintage fabric, wool fleece for hair, and embroidered facial features all help to create a soft, huggable doll.
As we go step by step, stitch by stitch, the character and personality of each doll emerges. Just as each human being on earth is unique, so too is every doll that is created in this manner. Sewing together is also fun and relaxing.
Beginners and experienced hand crafters alike will receive individual attention and printed pattern with written directions to take home. All materials provided.

About the Instructor
Marcia and her husband Cliff, have lived on a mountain top within a 20 acre parcel, in Willits, Mendocino County, for the past thirty-seven years. They call it the “Up and Down Ranch”. Their children grew up here enjoying the forest and meadows, the seasonal changes.
