Meet the Massage Therapists – Anna Sommers

As the newest member of the Emandal massage team, I am excited for this opportunity to share a little about myself.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree, a Medical License in Massage Therapy,  and a Teaching Certificate in hatha yoga.  I love to learn, read, cook, garden, and am endlessly fascinated with the world in which we live.  As part of our community choir, the Emandal Chorale, I’m able to sustain my enthusiasm for singing.  I have been a massage therapist since 2010.

Helping to make the world a better place has always been my biggest passion.

In my teens I started working on various farms, tending plants and watching them grow.  I then began helping animals, working at veterinary hospitals and doggie day-care centers.  Human beings were the logical next step, as I turned my focus to helping people through massage, yoga and reiki.  Whether simply helping a client to relax, or dealing with a chronic medical issue, I always find my work deeply rewarding.

I have a small practice in Willits and teach several yoga classes throughout the week.  I simply love helping people find more space for joy and happiness in their lives.  I look forward to helping you let go and relax here at Emandal.
